Tentative Date of April 19 at 1:00 p.m. set for tree dedication in honor of
Betsy Jacobson to be timed with the blossoming of the pear tree.
Small reception for attendees to follow—probably in Center Firehouse
depending on completion of ongoing construction.

Home
energy program date with Bob Strauss changed to April 26 at 1:00 p.m. in the
lower level of library. Tullia to
arrange for public notice in Reporter Community Calendar and Town
Website Calendar

Dougherty Luncheon –Additional 50 invitations sent out –in all 250 invitations
sent. Half-page print ad prepared by
San Lebowitz to be forwarded to the paper two weeks before luncheon.
Notice has already been sent into Archer Brown for Community Calendar and
to Mary Ellen McGahey for inclusion on Town website.
Mary Ellen also contacted to video tape event to air on Channel 22.
Reporter also to be contacted about coverage.
Tullia will ask Lions Club about sponsoring 20 HS seniors for Dougherty
Luncheon. Someone else will ask SI
Educational Foundation. Communications:

Know Your Town
to be sent to Sam Lebowitz by 3/23.
PGG and CAK to meet with Sam to discuss his design recommendations.
Fundraising by PGG and CAK continues with follow-up phone calls.

Forum on School Board Elections
scheduled for May 4 at school auditorium.
Janalyn Messer, Education Chair to coordinate event upon her return from
vacation.

Updated Membership Directory is scheduled to be out by annual meeting (June 21,
2008); other brochures and fliers need to be updated. Yvonne Loinig to assist
PGG in preparation. PGG in process
of culling member profiles. PGG reports that Georgiana Ketcham has agreed to
take over membership responsibilities. Other Business: Bylaws Committee to meet on
Saturday April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at home of CAK to discuss proposed amendments Next Meeting:
Cathy Kenny’s, Sunday, April 13 at
11:00 a.m.
